Gihei Santoku Blue 165mm

$127.00

Details

This is a classic santoku design. It is a multi-purpose knife, but with a slight vegetable bias. Santoku means “three virtues” or “to solve three problems.” The virtues or problems are slicing, dicing, and mincing. Its tall blade offers increased finger-to-board clearance, while its shorter length makes it ideal for handling a wide variety of produce and proteins. These knives are gaining popularity as a replacement to the ubiquitous chef knife for good reason.

Wash and dry the blade immediately after use. Knives with carbon steel core are very prone to rust.

Made in Nīgata, Japan
